Business Update

We want to let all our wonderful customers know that we are open!

Many of you have likely seen the news regarding the structural problems at the Empire Towers Building nearby. Anne Arundel County government has established a safety perimeter around that building, which blocks off traffic and pedestrians within 150 feet. Maryland Auto is not within 150 feet; however, part of Crain Highway is temporarily closed

Although there is a detour in place and the usual traffic patterns have changed, we are still here and ready to serve you!

📍 Getting to our shop:

Simply detour and head our way via Crain Highway and 6th Avenue—this is currently the only open access point to our storefront.

We appreciate your business and your understanding during this temporary detour. Drive safe, and we’ll see you soon! When you drop off or wait for us to service your vehicle, don’t forget to check out our newly remodeled customer reception area and try our new ice cream machine.

Due to nearby road closures on Crain Highway, please use one of these detour routes to reach us at 512 Crain Hwy North:

For customers heading to our shop from via Ritchie Hwy:

From Ritchie Highway (via 6th Avenue):

1.     Turn onto 6th Avenue where it intersects with Ritchie Highway

2.     At the end of 6th Avenue, turn left

3.     Finally, turn right at the sign 512-514 Crain Highway

4.     Continue on and follow the signs to Maryland Auto & Truck Repair

For customers already on Crain Highway heading south:

1.     Continue on Crain Highway heading south until you reach the intersection with 6th Avenue

2.     Shortly after you cross the intersection at 6th Avenue, make a right turn at the sign 512 - 514 Crain Highway

3.     Continue on and follow the signs to Maryland Auto & Truck Repair

Thanks for your patience — we're open and ready for you!
