Maryland Title New Tags and Vehicle Registration

VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTIONS

Under Maryland law, a vehicle must by inspected by an authorized vehicle inspection station in situations where:

  • A vehicle is tagged for operation by a new owner
  • When an individual is establishing a permanent residence in Maryland.

There are very few exceptions to this rule. Maryland Auto is the area's leading vehicle safety inspection station, delivering more inspections per month than most any other station in Baltimore. Cars, trucks, RVs, and trailers are inspected daily, Monday through Friday, by appointment (while-you-wait), or by convenient drop off service.

RELIABLE MVA SERVICES

Maryland Auto will fill out your forms, answer your questions, and complete your transaction in a timely manner.

  • “Temp” tags valid for 30-days for those that purchased a vehicle and need time for a Maryland State Vehicle Safety Inspection
  • Registration renewals for case where there is a need to either renew the registration or obtain a permanent registration after issuance of a Maryland State Vehicle Safety Inspection.
